• Do not damage any vegetation. If you’re impacted by plants, trees or reeds, please report it to the bailiff.
• Please park only in the designated parking spaces to unload your tackle. The road must always remain clear. No driving around between 21:00 (9pm) and 08:00 (8am).
• Rods must not be left in the water unattended. Please wind in before leaving your swim and remove the hookbait, so that animals do not injure themselves.
• No Campfires. Barbecues must be raised off the ground. Discard your ashes in the provided waste bin, not in nature!
• Only green/camo fishing style shelters are allowed. These must be set up within the borders of the swim.
• No Weapons of any kind (guns, crossbows, bows or other similar equipment).
• No Climbing trees.
• No Swimming.
• Each angler is responsible for keeping and leaving his/her own swim clean. Smokers should use an ashtray and discard cigarette butts safely into rubbish bins, not in the swim/bushes.
• Toilet and shower are available. Use of the toilets provided is compulsory.

• Taking and/or moving of carp is prohibited. We are strictly catch and release.
• No Nuts or natural baits (Maggots, worms, casters or other live bait) to be used at any time.
• No shelf-life boilies to be used on site
• Particles (such as Hemp and Maize) must be ordered and purchased from the venue. 
• Unhooking mats, landing nets, weigh slings, water buckets and wound disinfection are provided. Do NOT bring your own on site!
• It is compulsory to unhook a fish in the water. If this is not possible from your boat, please disconnect the hooklink from the lead system. Boating with hooked fish and a connected lead system is strictly prohibited.
• Always use a weigh sling to lift the fish from the water and to return it. Make sure all fins are flat against the body of the carp before lifting it out of the water. Should a fish have damage, treat it with the wound disinfectants provided.
• Always keep a fish wet while on the bank. Have a filled bucket of fresh lake water prior to lifting the fish from the water.
• Fish over 50lb must be unhooked and photographed in the water.
• Bream and Tench caught must be kept in the net (present at the swim).
• No Carp sacks. Any anglers found to be sacking fish will be asked to leave the site. Slings are provided for short-term retention. Make sure you have a camera with flash, suitable to take nice night pictures.
• Only Micro barbs are allowed, this prevents unnecessary damage in the carp’s mouth.
• Use only fish-safe lead systems where the lead and fish can be released in the event of a line breakage.
• Braided lines are allowed if combined with nylon/fluorocarbon leaders and a fish-safe lead system. Braided leaders are prohibited. Minimum mainline thickness 0.35mm for nylon/mono main lines.
• Zig rigs are permitted (minimum line thickness of 0.30mm).
• Leadcore, unleaded & freefall leaders no longer than 100cm (1 metre).
• 360°rig and automatic hook systems are prohibited. Spinner/ronnie rigs are fine.
• Fishing into obstacles/snags is not allowed.
• There are regular checks. You may be asked to wind your rods in to check the safety of your end-tackle.

• Drug and alcohol abuse will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave without a refund.
• Check-in is at 12:00 on Saturday, and you must check out the following Saturday before 10:00. If you are arriving later than 12:00, please call or leave a message on the fishery phone. (+32 484 60 89 51)
• Maximum 3 rods per angler. Rods must all be fished in your swim. Additional Spod/Marker rods are allowed for these purposes only.
• Dogs are only allowed if leashed and kept under control at all times.
• Permission must be given in advance by Embryo Europe HQ to use drones for film and photography purposes. Drones for fishing purposes are not allowed.
• The use of a boat is allowed. These are provided by Embryo Angling Habitats. Own boats are NOT allowed. Use of a boat is at your own risk. Life jacket use is REQUIRED. Using waders in the boat is PROHIBITED.
• The use of a bait boat is allowed. The boat must be completely dry before starting the session.
• Be considerate of other anglers and do not fish past the limit of your swim. Anti-social behaviour will result in being asked to leave.
• We want everyone to enjoy a nice holiday, so please bear in mind that noise over the water carries far. Please keep the volume of any music low.
• The Bailiff’s word is final!

Booking a trip to Carplantis is simple to do. Simply head to the booking calendar and select an available date (green box), then click ‘Book Now’. To book a lake exclusive, you will need to select all four of the green boxes

This will then take you to an online payment page, where you will pay a 50% deposit. You’ll be contacted for a Balance Payment roughly 8 weeks before your trip, after which you’ll receive a Welcome Pack with everything you’ll need to know. We are happy to accommodate a partner, or children staying in the same swim. However, non-fishing guests will be charged at 50€/person and we ask that you notify us when the balancing payment is made. This will be paid on arrival, via credit/debit card.

Feel free to bring your own boilie and pellet, however we require that particles e.g. hemp and maize etc, must be purchased on site. See the rules for full details on bait requirements.

No, you MUST use the fish care equipment provided. This rule is a biosecurity measure to help protect our stock from disease. Please do not bring this equipment onto site
